JAZZ RUINED MY NIGHT LIFE
An anthology collection of fiction, essays, or poetry all about one’s formidable, life-altering, moment with Jazz. Jazz photos in black and white.
Jazz as the protagonist.
Jazz as the antagonist.
Jazz as the anti-hero.
Jazz as a minor character.
Jazz staring off into the middle distance, an unlit cigarette, razor blade in the brim of a hat.
Jazz as an unlikely friend.
Jazz as a distant cousin.
Jazz drawing faces from the other side of the steam covered railcar window.
Jazz from a place in history, localized, canonized and memorized.
We are looking for creative works where jazz is a player, a featured component. This can come in any shape or form within the body itself, but it must be there.
Fiction: 3000 or less
Non-fiction: 3000 or less
Poetry: 3 or less
Photography: Black and white only, must be jazz oriented or inspired.
